The Charlotte

The Charlotte opened as a relatively large, single room micropub in October 2016, in the remodelled building that previously housed a pub and music venue by the same name. It boasts one of the best pub views in Leicester, overlooking the famous Magazine Gateway through an original Art Deco window. Six permanently changing guest ales are served on handpull. A guest real cider is also available, alongside a wide variety of continental bottles and a few craft products. Wines and spirits also sold. Since it's launch as a micropub, The Charlotte has been included in the 2017 Good Beer Guide and won an award from the Leicester branch of the Campaign for Real Ale. Opening hours are Monday-Thursday 11am-11pm, Friday & Saturday 11am-12am, and Sunday 11am-10pm.
