Cask and Pottle

The Cask  and Pottle is the first micropub in Staffordshire and is situated five miles from Burton on Trent, the brewing capital of England. Run by retired couple Gary Hopper and Jane Thompson, they  moved up from Deal, in Kent, to set up their business. They were regular customers of The Just Reproach and liked the concept so much that they decided to open their own. The premises has been many things in the past, from a video store to a sweet shop, but is now a cosy welcoming place in which to drink fantastic real ale and enjoy good conversation.
