Kipps’ Alehouse was named after the novel written by H.G Wells, a story of a young man growing up in and around Folkestone. This micropub is located within the cobbled streets of the ‘Creative Quarter’, an area dedicated to the promotion of the Arts. Kipps’ uses a glass-enclosed, cooled Stillage to keep the ales. Promoting local micro-breweries, mixed with a few national ones, the pub is a little bigger than the majority. The pub is dog and child friendly and is fully wheelchair adapted. For the summer there is an outdoor terrace. This is a real corker.
