This fantastic trailblazing micropub opened on October 11th 2013 and is the first of its kind in Merseyside. To quote former primary school teacher owner, Pat Moore “About 12 months ago, I read a book called The Search For The Perfect Pub, by Robin Turner and Paul Moody, and one of the chapters was an interview with Martin Hillier who opened the UK’s first micro- pub in Kent and that put the idea in my head that it could be done on your own without having to work with a brewery or big pub company.” Winner of Liverpool Camra pub of the year 2014 and 2015.
