The Conqueror Alehouse

The pub is named after a  two-funneled paddle steamer which operated excursions from Ramsgate to France around the beginning of the twentieth century and old photos of the ship and its crew adorn the walls. As you’d expect,  beer and cider is served straight from the barrel. Colin Aris, the owner likes to keep things ‘local’ and most of the beers are sourced from Kent.
