The Golden Smog

This is Stockton’s first Micropub and is the dream of first-time publican John Christie. The Micropub – in a tiny Stockton centre alleyway offers a range of local beers including those from Truefitt Brewing Company in Middlesbrough and Stokesley Brewing Company. The Micropub is decked out in all things Teesside including a £5 Stockton-on-Tees bank note, which is framed, and a piece by graffiti artist ‘South Banksy’ Karl Striker taken from Springs health club at Teesside Park when it was demolished.
