The Snug Micropub

Address:Carnforth Station Heritage Centre,
Lancashire
Established:2012-08-01
Website:Visit Site

Run by a husband and wife who have had previous life stomping grounds in Colombia, North and South London – what a mix. This is a small pub located in the old frontage of the railway station – a building shared with several other Council and business users. Carnforth railway station was allowed to get into disrepair for years after its original fame in David Lean’s Brief Encounter film. Now converted to a heritage centre and some limited upgrade of the station platform facilities.

Rather superb, one of the best even. Excellent selection of carefully looked-after beers. Friendly staff who are known to take their regulars on outings, like one big family.
