This wonderful one-room micropub run by Bill O’Brien is bringing beer drinking back to basics. Bill, formerly a printer, decided to take the leap after he and his wife Debbie spent the last couple of summer holidays in Kent, where the concept first emerged.  The micropub, formerly a Health Food shop has undergone a fantastic conversion to give a maximum occupancy of 45 people. You’ll enjoy beer served at your table with a choice of 3 ales at any one time.

Top marks to Bill and Phil for running a gem of a micropub, close to the Stratford-upon-Avon railway station and local bus routes. Dog-friendly. Disabled access. No TV, no music, great ale straight from the cask, friendly banter, (wine, soft drinks, crisps also available) Shakespeare CAMRA Pub of the Season Summer 2014,not to be missed if your in the area.

On my visit on the 2nd of January 2016, there was a wall mounted TV (switched off) and continuous tinny music. The beer was ok so two stars rather than one.
